Go to 13:41 and see what the pilot costs per block hour look like for the FFD industry.

Interesting that no one commented on this.....

We "ruined the industry" but have a higher cost than all but 2 other regionals......With probably the most junior pilot group.

Carry on....

He is a pilot here at Envoy. Should he get back to you now or do you need more time?

Maybe they should act like it.

Yea that's a great video, especially the first 25mins. Every regional pilot should watch it. It almost gives an indication of which regional's are in trouble moving forward into the next year or two. The 3 legacy airlines are already scoped out and they all basically need to shed 50 seat aircraft to comply with their respective scope clauses. So no matter what, the regional industry will be shrunk organically (and painfully) even without a pilot shortage.

That graph is from 2014 when we had critical pay. Our MEC that went to Delta mentioned we were towards the top for 2014 during a conference cal.

Now, premium is almost gone and we probably won't rank that high. If you look at our total cost we might be high right now. We are running close to 14 pilots per plane due growth and training backlogs. Individual pilots take home pay is not what it was or what is could be though.

We need our premium pay back. 125% for SDO pay is a joke. The old contractual system of SDO (although not as good as critical pay) would be great to have right now.

There were some good data points that were made by the E&FA chair. However, the more important thing that I took away from the video is that she makes $356,749.00 total compensation. Our dues money and she makes ~12.75 times more than an FO..

I'm not sure what her salary has to do with it. If she is worth that, then good for her.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out PSA management bit off way more than it can chew. Get back to me in 6 months when a large class for you guys is 8 new hires and SAP just isn't getting it done on the recruitment front.

So your not a rocket scientist.

Are you a wealthy managment consultant?

Again, leverage. If they want to staff an airline, they'll have to figure it out.
