Default TSA or PSA for a Boston commute

Hello all, new to the forum, I just got hired at TSA I have around 1300 hours so my class date is in the spring. I was also looking into interviewing at PSA. I've done a lot of research on both and understand the pros and cons of each. I'm leaning more towards TSA. Another thing, I live in Boston, and my finance has a great job in Boston so I will be commuting from Boston. What is the commute like from Boston to ORD, IAD and CLT? Thanks a lot, Happy New year!

Had a captain that went from Boston to Dulles. He never had any problems.

Use a travel search engine and see how many direct flights between the two airports. Bonus points for early departures to your base and late departures out of your base.
Further bonus points for equipment type (number of pax seats and jumpseats).
Even more bonus points if your employer flies some of the flights (you will get Jumpseat priority).

Boston has good frequency with most major hubs. I have no issues in 2 yrs commuting to PHL (20 + flights per day).

If it's the same guy now he commutes to Ord instead of Iad. I think united closed their base in Bos forcing crews to commute to iAd.

Red eyes are a life saver sometimes when a trip ends late. It's hell on sleep but it's 1 less night in a crashpad.

Bos to NYC would be easy. Try Endeavor out.

Try Endeavor out. 37 nonstops to NY each weekday and a 30k bonus.

The commute might be easy but you'll never upgrade at Endeavor. Ever. There are 7-8 year FOs still on property with no upgrade in sight for even them. You can assume things might turn around but there are a lot of recent downgrades (within the last year) that still need to be re-upgraded. Capped at a crappy 4 year FO pay in a concessionary contract obtained in bankruptcy a couple years ago.

Go to PSA. Upgrades are going to happen quick and even TSA is hiring captain qualified FOs..basically street captains.

Stay away from Endeavor.
