C5, RAH, or PSA
Where would you go ? C5 doesn't look too bad. Expanding and the jets are slowly coming in. Republic has great pay. But who knows. PSA is all that really true that it's not the place to be at now ? I'll be commuting out of MCO. Leaving the 135 world for the 121!

C5

Definitely Mesa.
|
I'd do RAH and take Miami, easy commute
|
Envoy. Someday you'll upgrade and flow to AA.
|
Endeavor.
Without a doubt |

I wouldn't go to any AA WO's. I would say Republic out of the choices you listed.

What ever you do, do not come to PSA.

Even if I lived in one of Psa's bases,I still wouldn't go there.Horrible management and back stabbing, low down cp's,not to mention a 10-12 year flow and endless reserve. Aag wo's=career stagnation. |
C5.....good pay, good bonus, and tons of movement. Once you have your time, you will upgrade ( if you desire)
|
PSA was a good place to be if you were hired 1.5 or more years ago... An okay place to be if you were hired a year or more ago... And if you've been here less than a year and don't live in base or you are looking to come now, i would consider other options. I think between C5 and RAH I'd go to C5 right now. I would also consider Piedmont.

Forgot to add.....great pilot group and people, and there is the CPP program. It's far from perfect and is deff not a "flow", but it's still an opportunity at a legacy. If you did get the yes from United, it would be a lot less time to "flow" to united than any of the AA flows. |
What about Endeavor vs Republic, which one would everyone choose?
|
Both are good places. Whichever one a person could live in base would be my choice.

Huh? EVERYONE gets the bonus at Endeavor, so if it ends, everyone loses $23,000 per year. But when it ends in December 2018, something else will have to be put into place in order for the company to stay in business.
Upgrade times are very simple to know... It's all within the past two pages on the Endeavor thread. 3 years is not accurate, however.

The problem with Endeavor is if you don't upgrade before the retention program ends, you will be making a lot less for what could be a significant amount of time. Not sure what their upgrade times look like now, but I've heard around 3 years. It would suck to make 55k your first year and then be stuck at FO pay (low FO pay at that) for two years while waiting to upgrade. I don't work there, so somebody may be able to chime in on those upgrade times....or if they are going to extend the retention program

Endeavor is a great place to work but your commute's gotta factor into it as well. If you're commuting out of MCO then you will want JFK or LGA.
Never, ever count on commuting through ATL (to DTW, MSP or otherwise). ATL is bad as it is but from what I've heard ATL-Florida is tough. All things considered, Republic's MIA base sounds like a good deal for you. |
Whatever info you use to decide now will be turned on its head in one years time. Welcome to the regionals.

I commute from ATL, as do several who work at 9E. While it certainly isn't my idea of fun, I have yet to miss work. And while it it true that I am new to EDV, I flew with a CA the other day who said he has had to call in honest about twice in the past 3 years.
