Endeavor pays well because they want pilots, just like everyone else. No flow, but the SSP has been about 61% success. No idea what DGI will be like, but I predict 75% or better. PM me if you want to know why I feel this way. Won't discuss it here.

Currently, only AWAC pays more than EDV. Probably for the same reason EDV did a couple of years ago, attrition is huge there. Dunno if this tampon will stop the bleeding.

QoL is awesome at EDV. Have never been junior manned. Sat RSV less than a month. Never been called to fly when at home, though I have called and volunteered during IROPs. Pay is always on time. Life is great here, and after one year, I still look forward to going to work. Certainly better than it was three years ago when guys were treated so badly.

And EDV doesn't pay our bonuses, Delta does. I'll let you ruminate about why. Why, until a week ago, we were the only DAL WO, and the best paying regional in the industry for over a year (min guarantee considered, not all the recruiter BS of $60K per year that has been floating around the past few months).

Another great company to look at that you didn't mention is PDT. You should really consider them as the top one or two as well.

Envoy flow is nice but takes a long time to flow and the flow will slow if staffing becomes a issue. Their credit per trip is awful, upgrade time is a long time, but I'd take flow over guaranteed interview.

Endeavor I don't know much about their current situation but I always question why someone needs to pay huge bonuses. No business owner does that out of the goodness of their hearts.

SkyWest is solid, good pay, great bonuses (which have been around for forever minus the two pilot profit sharing ones), lots of bases, High quality of life. Don't expected bonuses (besides type over 12,500 / 121 or 135 operator bonus of $7500). Ran into CEO the other day and he said no way on retention bonuses at the moment, no point paying for people to stay because they will leave first chance they get, you only stop a few from going to LCC and very few leave with upgrades so low and mainline hiring being what it is.

Comes down to where you want to live and if u have anything that can get you a mainline interview faster than flow or if you have something in your background that flow is essential.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the endeavor bonus program ending soon?

Endeavors bonus is for two years not just one. It runs through 2018 so a new hire now that is close to two years. After that it will probably be rolled into pay rates. American Wholly Ownes Envoy, Piedmont, PSA is also two years.

Upgrade times. They are all about the same envoy will be around 2.5 very soon. You got Skywest in the CRJ -200 Detroit Michigan. Endeavor has upgrades in NY on the -900 and -200 PSA in Charlotte NC on -700 and -900 and Piedmont in Philly on the 145.

It's a good time to get hired. The pay is the highest it's been (if you choose wisely) and upgrades are going two years in multiple companies. Used to be decade long upgrades and very low pay.

If it's roller into pay rates and you average 1000 hours (bonus 20k) that's a hourly increase of $20...seems unrealistic to me.

Yup. I'm calling BS. Also calling BS on any "projected" upgrade and flow times.

Never at SKW either. In fact, there's no provision for involuntary junior manning. They can call, I can answer (or not), but they can't make me work on days off. They can however resort to bribery.

Should be true at big regionals unless you pick a senior base, or new AC type.

Lol. It's like the "management never messes with us" argument. These are things that exist everywhere, if not, you're doing it wrong.

Jan 2019 is the last guaranteed bonus payment. But the plan is that before then, we will have ditched the bonus and agreed upon an hourly rate that is equivalent. Only time will tell.

Thanks for all the info and responses. I think SKW is the front runner for me right now. What does first year pay look like for them? Something like 40k I would think. Also, what are the chances of getting in the E175 and being based in Seattle, ORD, or somewhere that isn't Detroit. Thanks
