Looking at your post history, you seem to be at Envoy.
Yep, Envoy.

I'm using a REI Trail 40. It fits everything I need for a three week jumpseat backpacking adventure, but still small enough that I can walk through a busy African market unscathed.

For work, not allowed, nor would I entertain the idea.

What do guys use in addition to their roller board? What do you carry into the cockpit? Not sure if I will need to have my own headset and I assume I will have tablet for an EFB, but I usually (still!) carry a personal laptop. If I have to commute on one of those micro planes that can't fit a regular carry on in the overhead, I want to be able to keep my laptop in my personal item.

Thanks
I carry two iPads, my headset (QC15+UFllyMic), and a 15" laptop in a Contrail Vags FL440. Works great.

I'm always fascinated by people who know the rules at "most airlines." Most of the guys I know don't even know all the rules at their own airline.
