I do. Nothing wrong with that. If I tell them envoy they would basically say, '....oh those puddle jumpers???'
Or are you guys saying you fly mainline jets too? :p |

Until someone calls your lie that mainline pilots don't fly regional jets.

Well the Ejet looks very similar to an A319 or 737. They don't know the difference!
I'm willing to bet you don't either...:eek::rolleyes: |

Great health insurance, duty/trip rigs, trip touching (turn your 7 day primary into 21 days off), up to 8% 401k match, training dept that actually knows the aircraft, stable 50 year history. Off the top of my head.
My buddy is regretting jumping ship for there, as are others who went to Endeavor, etc. I've heard great things about AWAC, in no way trying to knock it down. AWAC, Endeavor, both solid options. Even PDT, go flow to AA in 5 years and the last 7 years of your career you can earn mainline money. Best of luck in your decision. |

Do any of you actually commute from or to ATL? I commute Chicago to ATL and between ORD and MDW and the 6 or so airlines that fly that route I have 35ish choices a day to get to work. It isn't bad at all. Now something like ATL-MCO or ATL-TPA would suck real bad.
But to not commute at all would be great! Living in base allows you to make more money also. Picking up overtime or 200% pay trips is convenient, something that's really hurts your quality of life if you commute. I'd also say that with the amount of time you have left to fly, the flow is a consideration. |
Thanks for the input from all. I knew there would be no perfect answer, but many of you reaffirmed my thoughts. Since we live in the ATL area and with a solid option that doesn't require a commute, I'm taking a swing at an Endeavor interview in a few weeks. As much As I hope to quick turn to a major, I've been around long enough to know that the airline business can change rapidly. All it takes is another 9/11 type event, the economy to tank, or fuel prices to soar. QOL goes a long way to putting up with any set backs. All going well, I'll get on with them and get ATL based. Again thanks for the input.
