Default Covert your logbook

Small time guy over here just went through his logbook. Thought it was painful putting all of the data into electronic logbook. But then realized it was actually fun to Remanence about all the places and trips and $100 burgers line by line. So the question is do you want to covert or you worried how painful it will be? But let me stop you I can help. Small time pilot will do it for you for far less then what a service will, and I'll put it in whatever service or app you want provide proper login info. Best of all I can do it off of photos or scans so you hang on to that precious logbook and an actual pilot who understand the logbook, info and what the data means. Contact me today.

Did you mean "convert" your logbook? If so, I can tell attention to detail might be an issue if I have to trust you with my logbook.

...and not just once, but twice.

I was wondering what "Remanence" was. Apparently, it's all done with magnets these days:

"The magnetic flux density remaining in a material, especially a ferromagnetic material, after removal of the magnetizing field. Good permanent magnets have a high degree of remanence. Remanence is measured in teslas. Also called retentivity."

I have a feeling nelson765 is also smallbusdriver . .. not sure who else would trust a total stranger with their logbook.

Guys, it's clear he is referring to making a stealth logbook. He said "covert" twice, no need to second guess the man.

No, I'm not the same guy. I am an older pilot trying to catch up with the new technologies. I have one logbook that is kind of messy and would like to get it "digitized" / transferred to excel so it can be loaded in one of the electronic logbooks. There are several companies that offer this service but they are charging a lot of money, up to .30 cents per line plus set up fees. Most of them won't get to touch your logbook, (including our friend here) they get pictures or copies of each page so there is no risk of losing or messing up the original logbook. One service will send you a scanner for you to use and then send back when done.

I agree with most comments above, our friend here (smallbusdriver) can't spell or know how to use spell check. Not a good indicator of professionalism, reliability, or accuracy. His price is the lowest I've seen so I wanted to inquire a little more.

It seems that he is really looking to help and make a little extra money on his down time. Good luck to all.
