Go somewhere you'll enjoy and won't spend the rest of your life in debt. Doesn't matter if you went to riddle or UND or Mary Sister Catholic of the blind. Just make sure you get a fun college experience.

How's the babes and the party scene there? Bet it's just a little better than riddle.

My point was you don't have to go to some prestigious, expensive aviation school. It doesn't make a difference. A degree is a degree.

Unfortunately regional pilots are at the mercy of mainline pilot's decisions on scope (Limit on the size and amount of aircraft majors can outsource). This is largely how the regional monster came to be. Hopefully, there are enough prior-regional guys at the majors now that they'll laugh in the face of management when they're presented with this. Or, they'll figure that since they had to deal w it, everyone else can too. We could possibly see regionals flying 100+ seat aircraft one day soon. Would you take a hefty pay raise even if it meant screwing a bunch of guys behind you?

I'll play...nothing real drastic or creative in my crystal ball.
70-80% of the current regional names still in business and pilot wages maybe 10-15% higher.
1 to 4 big regionals get some new benefits that encourages regional pilot loyalty...pay/seniority number, etc.
FAA age 67ish approved or in the works
More levers that allow sub-1000 hour pilots a right seat position but sold as more stringent and safer training to the general public/Colgan families.
1 or 2 more regional bankruptcies
Average pay at the majors/legacies 20% higher
Just 20% of the 50 seat regional fleet left.
Fewer benefits/conveniences for the flying public
Losts of technology in check-in/screening/boarding
Fewer freedoms around airport properties. More security.
United still beating the **** out of their passengers! Lol....kidding
