whats up with the Q400 for colgan, are they gonna put new hires in those, or upgrade current f/o's

Lot of Saab FO's like myself are too close to upgrade to transition into the Q and sit right seat longer. If they offer people upgrades into the Q400, then most will go I would think...

Pay sucks though.

I'll be suprised if they can even get them up and running in time, let alone staffed.

I would imagine that quite a few FO's in the Q will be new hires. It simply does not make sense for a FO who is getting close to upgrade to transition to a new airplane and wait even longer to become captain.
