How many Regionals did you apply for?
 

I fired off two applications yesterday and two more today to 4 different Regionals. I already got two calls today with an interview date with Skywest and an invite to interview for the cadet program for Air Wisconsin (even though I am about 200 hours away from my R-ATP). I expect to hear from the other two Regionals I applied to soon (Envoy and Republic).

My question is how many Regionals did you apply for when you started? What did you do in the situation that you interviewed and were offered a job at one before you got a chance to interview at the other? I want to explore all my options but just looking for a tactful way to say "thanks for the offer, but I am still exploring my options." Or should I just take the first job offer that comes in?

Apply to regionals that you're seriously interested in (top 3 with a fall-back), interview at those who offer you interview dates and accept the position if offered. Once you find the one that is the right fit, provide the others with ample notice (2+ weeks If possible) that you will not be attending class, thank them for their consideration and let them know you will keep them in mind in the future (vert important not to burn bridges... especially at regionals with flow through/ partnerships with majors).

Just apply to the one you want to go to. If you don't care, take the first offer.

Applied at 2, got offers to interview from both and only wanted to go to one of them and got the job.

Applied at three, got offers from all three. Accepted them all. Chose the one I wanted to go to and immediately informed the others I appreciated their consideration but would be choosing Republic. No hard feelings were made.

Apply to one you know you don't want to go and interview their first. It's called practice and it helps get your log book ready. It also helps getting the nerves relaxed and practice answering questions.

One. I applied to the one I wanted. They called back 12 hours later, interviewed a week after that, and started class a month after that.

I wish my situation was like that where I definitely knew which one Inwanted to go to. I don't love going to 4 interviews in three weeks, but I want to make sure I pick the right one if I am lucky enough to get offers from all of them. I am seeking advice on what to do if I receive multiple offers but have not decided where to go yet. It seems like the consensus is to accept each one, then politely call those that I didn't choose to withdraw before my class date.
