Yeah, we discussed maybe trying to contact the APTAP owner to see if we could take over the site, but decided to start anew. A lot of those guys have seemingly since disappeared off the internet (or into different careers). Still a great source of somewhat older information though.

"The Wolf Pack is being slaughtered in the army. This group is bring my faith back to the wolf pack! ( go ahead role your eyes). If you do your probably commissioned and will leave it at that."
Even though I was an RLO, which means, by default, I don't know my head from my a$$, I will offer a tip on how not to be *that* guy:
- realize that in your desired future career, the overwhelming majority of folks that you sit next to that have mil time will be/have been commissioned. This could include folks sitting across the table from you some day at that interview for your "forever airline".
BTW, if you're much younger than 40, you missed out on the Wolf Pack; it's been dead for many years. The reason it died was, in a large part, a product of the us vs. them attitude similar to that demonstrated in that post. Some of the most influential mentors of my career - and good friends to this day - were/are WOs; now mostly 4s and 5s. They RAN the Wolf Pack, but they ran it from a position of experience, professionalism, and truly being an indispensable part of the CofC.
Rant off. Good luck.

As long as you realize that's what one line in a blog said. The prevalent attitude is one of welcoming everyone, and yes, that includes RLOs. It's a forum to discuss RTP, and it is not in the admins' interests to censor every post that might offend one's sensibilities.
There are several RLOs on the site that have been welcomed with open arms.
With this community, the idea of the WOLF pack is back. Everyone is helping everyone else here, which is really what the whole idea behind it is about. Just because it died doesn't mean it can't come back in a slightly different, perhaps more improved, form. Sorry if you take issue with that.

Interview
Ok guys have an interview on the 21st of this month. I was wondering how it works as far as receiving a job offer or not. Do you find out that day or are you notified of the results at a later date? Thanks for the replies. Going for the RTP.

The answer to this question depends on who you are interviewing with. If you post the company I'm sure someone here can give you correct info. I can only speak for Endeavor Air and they will tell you the same day. Good luck!

Provided you're not a clown... They will offer you a job, fingerprint you, and give you a letter of pre-employment before putting you in a company-paid uber back to KDFW.
The FA on my flight home somehow figured out what I'd been in town for, and gave me two mini-bottles of celebratory vodka as I sat down in my coach-seat to fly home.

Got an offer
Just spoke with Coast they are saying they are backed up until 3rd quarter next year. Holy Crap. That's ridiculous. I already have about 65 hrs on my own. I was hoping I would be able to get in quicker with attaining my COMM SEL/INST before going??? We shall see.

If you’re available to start MTP within 90 days, apply to Piedmont. It’s only taking less than 6 months for these folks to complete the program and get into class.
