Default Thank you comair @ LGA 3/6/07

Thank you so much for noticing that Oil leak on the saab in the line at LGA. The mechanic forgot the engine oil cap (I hope he gets fired). You saved us from a real hairy situation. I hope one day I could buy you guys some beers. Thanks again

Though I was not the one that noticed your oil leak, I on behalf of Comair will accept those beers! LOL Glad you guys didn't take off like that!

Same thing happened on a Colgan Beech in BOS a week or so ago and they lost 3 quarts enroute to AUG.

Note to self: Check the oil caps after MX touches the airplane! Just as you check the fuel doors after the fueler touches the airplane! pretty basic stuff...

hahaha I feel for you Colgan guys, The MX their is not the best, I think system wide we have maybe 5-10 MELS (274) airplanes, I remember being on 121cq, that sonofa***** had 9, 9 MELS, thats just unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!! I hear the Q's break down alot

It does, main problems we see is the NVS (not so "Q" without it) and the fuel quantity indicator (I'm always sticking the damn tanks)
