Mesa Getting Desperate?
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/070315/lath101.html?.v=67
They will also refund 1/12th the cost of the PACE program every month after 3 years that you remain an FO according to http://www.flightcareers.com/Pace_Br...i_Training.htm |
Mesa has to sink to this kind of low. At SKW we get Mesa, AWAC, AE, ASA and many other current 121 pilots applying; Mesa doesn't. Therefore in order for Mesa to gain pilots they must rely on the ignorant. Ignorant, not meaning stupid, just those who haven't been in the industry long enough to know better.

Its a step in the right direction. Easyjet and ryanair all do their training this way.... except better. They get 0 hour guys and make them pay their way through training(arrange training bonds for them). Then upon completion and starting they pay back part of the bond to you every month. Yet again Easyjet and Ryanair are big time good companys. The principle of this is a good idea though.... if it were used with larger companies.

I would assume that EJet and ryaniar pay more than $19-23/hour too.
Ya like I said, its worth it to put that investment in a company like that(making like $150,000-200,000 a year after a few years)........ definitly not worth it for a company like mesa, or any regional for that matter |
hey why not mesa as a stepping stone if you dont want to flight instruct and you have real low time? obviously mesa is the worst one out there but people dont choose mesa, its just the only place they can get hired at with such little time, then they move on to another regional.
