Lots of talk on this forum about comparing a pilots salary to a bus drivers, so I thought I would check it out:
First year bus driver in Calgary makes a guaranted $27,000 a year(60 hour guarantee at $19 an hour) . First year Jazz FO makes $35,000 first year flat guarentee(tho jazz must pay by far the most of any north american regional year 1 bus drivers max out at $41,000 here after 4 years... a jazz 4 year FO makes $44,000 Its still frusterating that the high school drop out loading bags onto the Jazz RJ makes more then the FO flying it does! |
