Comair Base Question
 

I know it may be reserve for awhile, but what would a rough estimate be to get GSO as a base?

You will be in JFK for a while but could transfer to GSO within the year probably before 9 months

This is a question for ASA guys, I was wondering i know that ASA is based in ATL, but could I live in JAX and catch a ride up to ATL on work days ??? Is this allowed ??

I got GSO right out of training and would have had it two months after being at JFK but I got another standing bid as well which sent me right back to CVG. I don't think you would have to wait a year.

After looking at the April bid packet, the first 10 or so are senior FO's that have passed up upgrades. The rest are pretty new guys recently hired. I am assuming the new hires will stay unless they get displaced. The seniors will probably upgrade soon if the upgrades keep coming at the rate that they are. Also, a few new hires have quit shortly after. All that said, my personal estimate is 8 to 9 months if all continues. Good luck to you.

in training now, I got GSO but I have to spend a month or two in JFK till i get to go there. It seems that you get what you want however everybody starts at JFK and it is a matter of when you get out.

Awesome, all those sound good. I was just hoping it would be within a year. Sounds like things may be looking better with a little movement.
