That sounds like hell.

Exhibit A of why I’ll never work charter.

Granted I’ve never had less then 24 hours notice but still a drag having that leash. Combined with the low pay (for the position) I’ll be on my way back to 121 soon.

No fn kidding! It really was a good company until the Rev got ahold of it. Heart still hurts for those guys and the good pilots at Midwest. fN repugnant.

Had a good two years at my regional. Made over $280k in 16/17 I worked <185 days in 17. off to a major in March. Bring on the 50k Paycut 😫😫 and to think for 3 years I made Less than 40k... No truer words have ever been spoken to me. “You want the easy life at airline? Go into trn and be a mgt pilot.”

Yeah but still. You shouldn’t be on call for everyday of your life.

the "40k-ish" gross for 2nd year Regional FO Pay is not horribly grossly bad. Yes it could be better.

But a day existed where $12,000 a year to be a copilot on a Jetstream was the going rate

That doesn't make it "not grossly bad".

I backed out the $16,000 NH bonus as I don’t consider that pay. It’s sitting in a money market account till year 3.

I hardly fly, my choice, and I was out on medical for a month.
