Crazy world we live in...
 

Just in registering an ATV the other day, and overheard the conversation of some kid and the state employee next to me. This guy was registering his new viper, and the girl asked what he did for a living. The guy was a few years younger than my self in his mid 20's going to college. He told her he sold security systems over the summer and was an area manager, bla bla bla. And told her how much he made over last summer 150k+. Something like he gets 220 dollars per sale and avgs 8 or so a day.
Normally I am all for others success, but this guy was so arrogant he ****ed me off.
Crazy world we live in. You got pilots flying 20 million dollar aircraft with peoples lives in there hands, work for a year to make what this kid makes in two weeks.
Any one know how to get leave of absence for a summer to make a real living?

chime... (cfi, new hire or trust fund child) "If it sucks so bad then why don’t you leave?"

chime... (Wide body cargo or major captain, or similar) "all those young guys think the world owes them something. They think they should get it all now. Yall complain too much".

chime... (person with no life outside of aviation) "If you got into aviation to make a living you did it for the wrong reasons, you have to do it for the love of flying".

Perhaps you didn't know that home-security and car-security people usually moonlight as burglars?

It's easier for a pilot to get a woman then a security salesman viper or no viper. It's scientific fact.

No this **** is true, I have had a few friends who have done it and I have seen the check stubs. What was I thinking? Ha ha ah ah oh.

What makes me mad is when you see someone with their arrogant attitude looking down at poor "educated" folks trying to talk all sophisticated, like this guy.
