Default Question about ERJ-145 rows w/ infant mask

Nonrevved on an United Express (ExpressJet) ERJ-145 and while we got seats, there was a problem as the row we were given apparently did not have 3 masks in the seats on aircraft right. The seating on the -145 are 1 and 2. In the end they ended up switching us with others on the plane to make it work. Question, which rows have an infant O2 mask which would mean a cluster of 3 masks?

3, 7, 11, 21, and 24. 24A also has a spare mask that can be used as long as there is no FA in the back jumpseat.

Well, the E-145 only has 19 rows...so that's not the only thing odd about that...

United numbers their rows to correlate with their mainline planes. So the exit row is always going to be numbered 19,20, etc...

You’re right, there are 19 rows, but they are not numbered 1-19 on United Express flights.

Ahh ok, makes sense. They had to move us into row 7 aircraft right in order to make it work for the mask issue.

Thank you!

Other carriers are operating a CRJ then. CRJ's have the FO side with 3 masks per the 2 seats.

It actually only has 18 rows.....row 1 and 2 are single A seats, the next 16 rows have 3 seats each for a total of 50 seats

Close. UA mainline exit row is normally row 21. Regional aircraft for UA, the exit row is normally row 18. If UA needs to swap equipment for any reason, the exit row passengers are still in the exit row the majority of the time.

Also, Continental did not have a row 13, so the last row was row 19 on the erj. The erj has a total of 18 rows.

18 rows if you don’t skip any numbers, but some places do number the rows skipping numbers.....
The above mentioned reason for keeping folks in exit rows in the event of equipment changes seems valid.
