My favorite: "Every pilot who is going to mainline is so happy. Why is that? I don't get it..."

Also (while on my FO IOE during my very first bathroom break where my check airman left): "Why am I up here?"

FA: So how long were you in ground school for?

Me: About a month

FA: Really? So only another week of ground and I could have been a pilot??!

Me: ..... Yeah, you got it.....

On a deadhead, crew RTO’d. FA told the pax that the pilots got a phone call or a text from United and they had to answer it.
