Watch your language or close the door.

Well the language PC police are alive and well. Just heard on the morning news that passengers complained and police removed a NWA Captain from the flight because he was using foul language (F word) in the cockpit. NWA had to cancell the flight. Next thing will be "authorities" listening to cockpit tapes after each flight to determine if charges should be brought.

It may not be "professional" but removal like being a "Threat to the flight" is really dumb.

How do you lay an f-bomb,, and this is the best part

Northwest wouldn't comment further beyond a statement that said the flight was canceled due to inappropriate language by a crewmember.

Ha, and they think there is a pilot shortage now, wait until they do this and there won't be anyone left!

Seems like a radical action to remove a pilot for cussing, but if a pilot is angry enough to show it they are violating the "IMSAFE" check although I am not sure which FAR covers it. IMSAFE of course includes emotional stability (E).

Unprofessional for sure. I personally would not want to fly on this plane as a passenger.

Then you certainly don't want to fly anytime near contract negotiations. F that guy. He is an F'ing jerk. Did you see how many stock options that F'ing guy got? These are just some of the colorful phases you would hear if the door was open.

I suppose Chuck Yeager never use the F word while testing various aircraft.

After reading the article it does sound like the CA was very emotionally agitated, and it wasn't behind the door either...I would have got off the flight too.

I don't think it was the cursing. I think it was the fact he locked himself in the front lav., and continued to curse and have a conversation with himself in there. Now that's scary.
