Showin respect for Republic....

Well I have to say I am glad to see some of these regionals are standing firm on their mins. New climbto350 ad for Republic still shows mins at 1500/300.

There website says 1000 and 100. http://www.republicairways.com/emp-p...reerguide.html

And I know people who have gone there with less then 1000 total with previous 121 time.

Too bad they didn't really stand firm on that and are hiring with a lot less than that!

Respect?????????????? Isnt that just for the 170, and if it is it is probably because of insurance, and they can't go any lower

PS. I could be completely wrong, and probably am but I am sure you gusy will let me know:cool:

When I was called for an interview in February, they were firm on their 1500/300 minimums. That was for any aircraft. Beginning of March, they lowered minimums to 1000/100 but they still have an additional requirement for the 170. I think that the 170 times have to do with insurance but I couldn't be certain. I think they are still firm on 1000/100 but I could be wrong. I know they look for quality pilots.

Has the 170 mins there too. And again, the 1000 doesn't seem to be firm, as there are former waterskiers that have gone over there w/about 800 to 900 total, and about 3-400 multi.

The 170 mins are not 1500/300. The have some additional requirements of 300 hours x-cty, 100 instr. etc. (not sure the exacts of it but its something more than the 1000/100 for the other planes)
