Health insurance

Thinking about a switch from the corporate world to the regionals. I do have a family and just curious on who has the best health insurance. Looking for quality and reasonable premiums. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply's- I’m looking at Envoy, ExpressJet, Skywest, and GoJet. Anyone have any insight on health insurance at these companies? Sorry-should have clarified where I was looking.

I don’t know your situation, but if health insurance is a serious priority for you take another look at air Wisconsin. I’m hardly a company cheerleader but they offer health insurance that puts everyone else to shame.

I flew with a captain whose wife was hospitalized to the tune of a 175,000 bill. He paid $50 total for the whole thing. That’s it. In network (and it’s a great network, lots of bleeding edge research hospitals) doctor visits are $25. Hospitalizations (in or out of network) are $50.

Maybe expressjet or skywest.

Envoy's health insurance is obscenely expensive and only getting more so due to some ridiculous 'cost sharing' in the contract. Main plan is $500+ a month for a family.

Envoy tried to impose a spousal surcharge if your spouse has the ability to get health insurance through their work.

Company recently lost that battle. But prices are going up next year.

SkyWest has several plans.
First is the PPO: $584 a month for a family, $1000 deductible, $6000 out of pocket.
There are two CDHP plans.
CDHP value: $216 a month for a family, $5000 deductible, $7900 max out of pocket. You receive $1200 in your HSA
CDHP Basic: $336 a month for a family, $2700 deductible, $6400 max out of pocket, receive $1200 HSA contribution.

Rates for singles and couples are available.
