LOW FUEL (And SAABaroowski too),

I've always been very interested in XJet. Are there any plans for growth (new aircraft, etc.)? If not, do you think upgrade times will slow down in the future because of a lack of growth?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Apollo

Unfortunately, I dont think we have any "plans" for acquiring any more aircraft at the present moment. I feel thats simply because if the branded thing doesn't work out, we will have those airplanes...........on the other hand if the branded thing works out, we may just need more airplanes, whether its to fly for another airline, or to add them to the Expressjet flying. If the Branded stuff doesn't do well, Upgrade could be on hold for a very very long time.

PS. Even with the lack of growth if all goes as planned with the branded flying, Upgrades will stay around 2-3 years, we have a lot of CA's leaving, the past month I have flown with two guys going to SWA, one to Airtran, two to JB, and one to CAL, thats just whom I have come across in one month, so there will always be movement

SAABaroowski,

Thanks for the detailed response. Any word on how the "branded thing" is going.

Also, I was considering the ATP Regional Jet program to try to get on with your company. Are you seeing folks from that, any feedback on performance?

Thanks again for the insight.

Apollo

Load factors are around I dunno, 30-50% ful, which from what I here is what they expected so far, because its new, actually I think its even better than most thought. I wouldn't waste your money on that ATP stuff, XJT is big on personality, just reach their minimums, apply, you will get the interview!

there has been talk on ordering more planes but they are waiting to see how this ExpessJet flying does. Also IMHO if we go in and do a good job for DAL i would be willing to bet that that will grow also. Alot remains to be unseen but right now its looking good with the current situation. There is risk at any airline you go to.
