Skyways

Anybody heard anything about Skyways. I would like to get on with them. How many pilots are they hiring?

I went to the interview today- It was the worst experience I have ever had. At other interviews they try to make you comfortable and try to get to know you. They will question you but it does not feel like questioning just feels like a conversation. Well at skyway, the chief pilot seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder from the moment I got in there. He seemed like he was in a bad mood. He questioned me a lot and made it feel like I was under fire. He bombarded me and then went on to take about the company. Well from reading the gouge on aviationinterviews.com, I knew what it was going to be like going in there (others said the same thing), but it was an experience. He made it so I didnt want to work there at all, especially if i have to fly with him for IOE ..damn! lol

Skywest out of MKE would be a better choice. Also, in today's environment, don't forget that you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you.

I know my stuff and fly well I just always get so nervous at interviews and I have a feeling this is affecting my chances of getting hired

He's ****ed that he didn't get the DO job. Top be honest he's a douche bag, there's a reason that every pilot hates him.

I didn't think he was that bad actually I guess I thought they were supposed to make you feel timid

The first job is by far the hardest one to get. Keep trying. Hope it works out for you. Yesterday I jumpseated on Skyway and the employees are very friendly and accomadating.
