What the recruiter's won't tell you

It's not easy to sort through all of the forums to get the following information, anyone care to share info?
Who's hiring and who's put hiring on hold?
How long until you start class?
How long on reserves?
How many flight hours each month?

At OO on the E175 in LGA.

As far as I know we are still hiring on both airplanes (CRJ and 175). Not sure what the current frequency is with classes but I know a couple months ago we were doing about two E175 classes a month and three or four CRJ classes a month. I waited three months for first available E175 class. Was on reserve a month; flew about 60 hours that month. As a lineholder I fly about 80 hours of month (~90 to 100 credit).

OO crj classes are out to about 4-5 months right now from CJO to class date.

I have 175 school on 3/8 and got CJO in Dec but was still under a contract with current employer. Also had to turn down 2 earlier classes because of aforementioned contract. Been told that 175 is 2x month.

Hopefully I can get ORD by time I'm done with the school house.

Thanks for the info.

Envoy is approx 2 weeks from CJO to class date. 6-8 weeks class date to start of IOE. IOE seems to be 1.5-2 weeks.
Reserves vary from not long at all (2-3 months) to a year or so, depending if you get the 175 or 145 out of training.

So all of the CQF's go to the E145 and ORD?

CQFs? Envoy doesn't do CQFs for now. You get awarded a CA spot day 1 of indoc.

Sorry, I was confused. Can't remember who calls them CQF's.

There's a huge difference between DEC and CQF. DECs fly as captains, CQFs fly as FOs.

Well, they fly as both as needed and usually get CA pay regardless of which seat they're in.
