Besides your phone, do you bring along another personal device on your trips?

I carry a laptop but really only because I have another job which I often do on the road. Can't do real work on a touchscreen.

If you're a gamer you'll need a laptop of course.

Make sure the van driver doesn't load your laptop case where it will fall out when he opens the door. Or just hang onto it.

If it gets dropped it probably won't break but the grease between the CPU and the heat sink may separate, and then you'll have cooling and performance issues, especially at high elevations. If that happens you can take the laptop apart and apply fresh heat sink grease.

A laptop which fits pretty nicely in the middle pocket of my flight bag https://luggageworks.com/stealth-ele...light-bag.html

It's great to do work on and watch movies on.

iPhone, company iPad, and Oculus Go. I love the Oculus on the road. Makes any hotel room seem cooler.

I use a chrome book and i like it. Very portable, and a tablet/laptop hybrid. Has a keyboard and touchscreen.

I use an iPad Pro with the keyboard case on the road. I write papers for grad school and it works great.
