Regionals Taking Multiple Jumpseaters?

Guys,

I know that Comair and Horizon take multiple jumpseaters. What other regionals offer this?

Gordon

Piedmont is unlimited to airlines with reciprocal agreements. Check ur ALPA website and you will find info on the airlines you may jumpseat and their regulations.

I think most airlines are multiple jumpseat now.

ExperimentalAB 01-12-2008 09:12 AM

Even if the airline isn't, the Captains are...

Well, big HK's airline is still limited to only 2 jumpseaters, regardless of how many open seats there are. That being said, it has yet to be a problem for me because usually one of the extra jumpseaters are on a travel pass.;);)

TheGreatChecko 01-12-2008 09:33 AM

Lynx does as well.

Schwartz 01-12-2008 09:54 AM

Compass is also unlimited

Technically true, but I've never flown with a captain who enforces it.

The gate agents can be jerks and enforce it

This might be a doubt question, but what is multiple jumpeseaters compared to just regular jumpseating????

Some airlines limit the number of jumpseaters to the number of jumpseats in the cockpit. So theoretically a plane can have 5 people wanting to jumpseat, 40 seats open in the back, and only one cockpit jumpseat, so only one person goes.

Its a stupid rule and few captains would enforce it. I'm not a captain, but I've always been a the more the merrier kind of a guy!

flynavyj 01-12-2008 05:40 PM

agree with Johnso....can only take two on TSA, but, im sure they're on passes, just hate it when the gate comes yelling at you "you can only take two, and these guys here don't have passes, yayayayayay"

makes wayne brady have to choke a ....

BoilerUP 01-12-2008 05:50 PM

AWAC is unlimited as well.

Moose Surgeon 01-14-2008 06:28 AM

Colgan is also. The only major I have ever had this issue with is Delta. I usualy try and avoid them.

The Gate Agents can't do beans. Don't ever think they can.
