Truth is QX is my first choice for those reasons you mentioned. Other than the upgrage of course. But hiring is a little slow there and don't think I want to wait for when they get back into it. I'm putting an app in anyway soon. You never know.

The point I'm trying to make, is that many get the SJS and are so happy to be hired that they don't care what they work for. If more people ask, then politely decline the job because of pay, I'm sure management will get the point.
As far as 1st year sucks, 2nd year is better and third year is likely captain (that my be true in SKYW's case) However, you have to remember that if you are a Captain at year three chances are that you will be reserve (crappy QOL), probably at minimum reserve hours, vs. working extra hours as an FO with extremely better QOL. Just a thought. Besides, you may not even want to upgrade.
