ASA's agreement with Delta protects our routes untill the end of 08... After that we find out whats up mister pro SKYW Window Seat. Either way I'd like to see a regional come into ATL and try to do what ASA does. ATL is an operational night mare. Either won't be there to care by then; got to make room for kremit14.

Do you have any more information in regards to this news? I know that I've seen 3 of the 900s floating around including the one with the new 35 years paint job, but that's about it. Is it going to be a permanent base? I'm scared...

On July 1st there will be 10 crews/20 pilots based in ATL. This will not be a reserve domicile but an actual line domicile. The word around here is that our ATL domicile will grow to include CR2/7 & 9 flying. Otherwise, I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see. When will we know, probably shortly after ASA's new TA is approved because then SKW Inc can make their moves without being handcuffed by the RLA.

$2500 dollars for the SIC type is nice, but I think that a better seniority number by going to RAH right off would be better.

Go to Tran States and get your CRJ checkout & then go to RAH and cash in on the $2,500 signing bonus for having a CRJ type.

I enjoy working at ASA. The ATR flying is good anyway. ASA's suffering from heavy attrition and we're growing by two or four 700s. However the last transfer of 700s from comair is being delayed a few months until we can hire enough pilots.

Rumor has it that the upgrade time is around 2 years now. *Shrugs*

Good luck

So ASA is having problems finding pilots to fly the airplane eh... Hmmmmmmm wonder how long that will last... you see I think everyone is having a problem with finding QUALIFIED people to fly the airplanes.. I hope Pilots wake up and help raise the BAR
