Canadian imigration

anyone ever had a problem with canadian customs under there new laws?
aparently if you ever have done anything, regardless of it being more than ten years you have to submit a rehabilittion form and it can take up to a year to process. anyone else run into problems?

I fly to canada often, and a lot of the guys I fly with have a "special" visa due to something in their past. Not certain on the details, but I know it is a hassle every time you go into canada. If you're seeking employment at an airline that flies there, check with your canadian consul...they can tell you if you need the waiver, and how to get one I'm sure.

If it's a DUI you're speaking of, it's a problem. i took a buddy of mine that had a DUI in 1995 a year to get his VISA sorted out. Though going in as a crew member may not be a issue, since immigation generally doesn't get invovled with crew members.
