Default Regional with Atlanta base

Hi Guys, really just looking for a little guidance or input. I really don't know much about the subject so I apologize for the broad question.

I am going to be applying soon and was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on working at a regional with an Atlanta base.

From my research, I see Endeavor and Skywest have Atlanta bases. And I know an Atlanta base probably won't happen right away. I was wondering if anyone had input on how I should approach applying if I could eventually get an Atlanta base.

Thanks & Best.

Endeavor is the better option. Small base for SkyWest with rough trips.

Skywest ATL base? 100 FOs and 100 CA is small? Certainly not large but it's one of our larger bases relative to SFO and LAX (60 each)

its our smallest east coast base (excluding LGA because, well I think it will be gone soon), only -200 trips, and we have 89 CAs bidding (not sure about FOs). I think 9E has about 150 ATL CAs but it is a more senior base for them than us (Skywest). SFO and LAX both have more crews than ATL, they are just split between 2 fleets

As another poster said your choices are Endeavor and Skywest. I would do some research on those two and go from there. not sure about 9E but for OO's base, if you don't live there it is probably worth commuting to another base as the trips in ATL are not very good. Ive seen more that a couple people who live in ATL and commute to better flying (ORD is most common, DFW is next). best of luck with your choices

How does Endeavor look for ATL residents now? I had ruled them out bc of significant class date delays and an apparent lack of flight hours for reserve pilots. But has that changed, and is the ATL flying actually better for Endeavor than for Skywest? I'm hearing about minimum credit 4-days at Skywest but wondering if it's any different over at Endeavor.

There are plenty of low credit 4 days in ATL for Endeavor too. ATL regional flying is pretty bad in general, just due to the nature of how the Delta network is set up. Most flights over an hour and a half are mainline, with a few exceptions that Endeavor does on the 900 (ABE, HPN, LNK, etc...). For Skywest that base is all 200s.
