ORD to MSP Commute

Does anyone here commute out of ORD to MSP? I personally don't know anyone making the commute and curious how challenging it is. It seems like there are plenty of flights, but that doesn't necessarily equate to an easy commute...

I just talked to a MSP-ORD commuter who said that the commute is short but a lot of pilots and FA’s going both ways. Usually, 7+ making the commute each flight. Depending on the time of year, loads may be low or high.

Yeah both are hubs, that's always a recipe for commuter fun.

I’d just pick a regional that has a base in MSP.

I've done it a few times from MSP to ORD as part of a two-leg home. I've had to ride the jumpseat on UA a few times, but I've never not made it, and that's as an OAL jumpseater.

All three legacies fly the route with a variety of equipment. SY flies the route almost daily. In a pinch, DL and WN also fly to Midway.
