Proflight series 2
Starting my regional training Monday and looking to get the proflight series 2 headset. I currently have the bose x but they need replaced pretty soon. Does anybody have any experience with the new version? Before I get the few that say go CA, bose is giving a 300$ credit towards either the PF or the A20s if you turn in your Xs. So financially it's a smarter idea. Thanks

I've had them about a month, and so far I like them. The only complaint that I have has been the earpiece doesn't fit great on my right ear. I'm probably going to get some custom ones made. Otherwise I really like them. I have the 5-pin, which has been really nice as well. I bought them to replace the A20, as legs get longer, they get less and less uncomfortable.

Solution to that contingency, or for commuting on ships without XLR jacks, is a $40 XLR to dual plug adapter. The rest of the time, you can enjoy the benefits of powering your ANR off of the XLR jack.

What powers the ANR when using the adapter? I’m just asking because I’ve only used dual plugs.
