I've always made it a point to give out pleasantries over the radio. I think I helps make the day go smoother and it's also professional. This D.M. fellow reminds me of a quality specialist I had at a different job. Basically, they wanted to insure that the company got their information, and didn't care if the customer was assisted/satisfied.
