Heard of Western Governors University?

Any pilot on here currently enrolled. Apparently it is accredited and cheap. Get a BS in less than half the time. Can anyone concur? It’s really attractive online school

Actually, yes. My wife is an RN who got her associates degree years ago and then went to work. She has climbed high enough on the career ladder (nurse manager in an ED) that her work is paying for her to finish her BS degree because it's required to move up to the next level in management. It's all online and she's doing it on her time off. Yes they are legit.

Yes, I am. Full time CFI doing their Software Development program online and I can afford to pay it 100% out of pocket. It is a great program so far. Since its online, being able to self motivate is important.

I believe WGU follows a competency based outline that one can progress through as fast as they are able. I am not convinced this model is suited for everyone. If you have an area of expertise like Business or IT and feel comfortable accelerating your studies then go for it! I'm curious if there is any actual instruction or if competency based learning is facilitated by mentors and not actual faculty. Interesting concept but probably best suited for independent learners with a background in the field they are going to study. Curious to hear comments about WGU.

Some airlines just have a degree as a box, but the actual university matters to others.

If you want to go to Delta, a university that is online only is not the way you want to go.

Wasn’t WGU formed by a couple of state governors in an attempt to start a legitimate inexpensive college option for adult learners etc? As far as I’m aware it’s completely legitimate.

You obviously like to talk out of your butt.

A simple google search reveals several brick and mortar WGU locations.

A simple search and you would have remained a [relatively] credible source of [relative] information.

Now you’re just an [incredible] douche for creating a [false] narrative and installing yourself as Delta’s highest HR officer.

What an idiot.
