AWAC interview offer

They offered me an interview from a resume i sent in months ago but they want me to rent a car and drive 2 hours to get there so i told them i wont pay for a car and denied their interview. If they want me they need to get me there! what BS, not fro $22000

In 2005 I took a positive space ride into MKE and rented a car rather than go standby through ORD. I actually made it to the interview, while 2 of those going through ORD did not. I got the job; I also learned that the Ford Focus doesn't perform well in 4" of snow on US 41.:D

Yeah it sucks, but what are you gonna do if you really want the job? Your profile shows you as an RJ FO...just jumpsteat to Appleton on NWA, Delta, UAL or Midwest like dozens of others have for the interview.

Well, I agree with BoilerUP here about jumpseating if that's an option. But I am also glad to see someone with some spine telling them what they can do.

If they are too cheap to get a candidate to headquarters on the company dime they don't deserve that pilot IMHO.

I more than paid for a car to get there... I bought a ticket on NWA from ICT-ATW... COST ME ABOUT $450!!! Do I regret it, not really. Apparently they could not positive space me from ICT anywhere, so i would have had to drive 2.5 hours to MCI, fly MCI-PHL-MKE, then drive another 2 hours to ATW... and reverse it all not the next day but the day after for a total of 2 nights at my expense in the Luxurious Appleton LaQuinta. (because the interviews were to long to actually get me home the day of). I couldn't take that much time off work. Of all the BS companies you could work for AWAC is far from the top of the list.

Who do you work for now anyway?
