Mesaba New Hires

Hello everyone,

This is RJ900. Does anyone knows how long it takes for Mesaba to call an applicant with an offer for emplyment?

I interview with them on the 23rd of May and have not heard anything whatsoever; no call or letter.

On onother note: How many RJ-900 per month are they going to be getting? Any Mesaba guy out there?:D

It might take a couple of weeks. If you don't hear something by the end of the week, please call back to HR and get an update.

Our first CRJ900 arrived last week. We are planned to receive 2 per month (some months only 1) until all 36 are here by Winter of 2008.

There is a long thread below this one with the same or simillar title. You might scan thru it to get some answers on how long it takes to get a response. There are several Mesaba pilots that respond regularly.

Then I guess I saw your first -900 in Fargo a couple days ago. A whole bunch of rampers and possibly mechanics were standing around gazing at it. The paint job looked good.

One of my friends is a skywest gate agent down in Fargo. He was saying that the crew was having some sort of problem with getting the flaps up so the thing sat on the ramp for quite a bit.

Likely so! Proving runs. We received our operating certificate just the other day. Goes into service on Thursday.

Here you go...she's a beaut but they should have brought the red down a little further on the tail IMHO!

It looks like they ran out of red paint and decided just to stripe it off 2/3rds of the way down.

I'm sure making the boundry flush with the top of the fuselage looked cool on a computer screen...but in real life...
