I’ve been avoiding 50 seaters way before covid.

Hmmm...

Avoiding 50 seaters might be good in general but I don’t think anything about it relates to COVID. For one, Envoy replaced their filters with HEPA filters early on, I bet the others did too. But even if not, I really doubt the virus survives the long trip in dry air though the environmental system anyway. If you get COVID on a plane, it’s from the guy sitting next to you, not from air going though the filtration system.

The irony is that, at least on the -200, there is no recycling of air going on. It’s all fresh out of the graspers.

This, I believe it's the only airframe that doesn't recycle.

When it is on. The problem is the 20 minutes between boarding and both engines starting when you are breathing stale and hot air due to lack of APU use. You only see that on 50 seaters. All other aircraft have no issues running their APUs and the APUs are big enough to have a robust pneumatic system.

Recirculation fans sure would have been nice on the -200.

Thumbs down

Their magazines are nothing more than socialist propaganda and should be ignored

On the ground, the 145 apu pushes the ACM’s harder than the engines do. Try again.
