XJ is Mesaba.

Nothing you have to do. Once you are a pilot for XJ (Mesabahhhhhh). You will be in the CASS system. When you go to "jumpseat", you will show your ID, they look in the computer, a voila!!! If the Captain agrees, your in!!!
Nothing to do on you side to "get in" the system. But you have to be "employed". I don't know if that is before, or after your checkride, or what. |
Ah, those crazy two-letter codes. I never did bother to learn any of them.
|
As long as you know your own. Once had a gate agent ask me what Spirit's code is. So for fun I asked which one IATA, or ICAO? Threw her for a loop. I then asked, the 2 or 3 letter. She needed the 2. Dry sense of humor on my part I guess.:(

You "should" be in the system by now, I know that some guys jumpseated back home last weekend (they started that Monday).
But remember, if you jumpseat during training and can't get back, it's all on you. |
...don't forget your passport...
