Accepted job, still interview?
Recently accepted job at my #1 regional. My 2nd choice called and scheduled an interview. I wouldn't mind the interview practice and see the perks past what I've researched, but don't want to waste anyone's time either. Would it come off better to cancel the interview before they waste the time and resources sending me out there, or go through with it only to say thanks but no thanks. Just curious the thoughts as I know some regionals do the indoc paperwork and such right when you're there. Could get weird if I just turn around and say no; and this #2 I wouldn't mind working at either, but don't want to get semi blacklisted one way or another if I can play it right.
Thanks
Thanks

If you are happy with the choice you have made then I would simply send them an email and thank #2 and cancel the interview. If you have doubts and are still thinking that #2 might be a viable option then go ahead and interview. I wouldn't worry about the paperwork issue but no reason to waste your time or theirs.

Can’t hurt to have a backup option. Your #1 regional might turn out to be something you didn’t expect as you do more research along the way. I have no idea who your #1 regional is so don’t take this as a slur on wherever you’re going

Interview and get offers until you’re actually on a seniority list. You aren’t hired anywhere until you’re hired.
If you get a second offer you can schedule a start date months later, after you’ve had the chance to see that your first choice is a good choice.
