The Compass contract states that Compass pilots have the flow-up rights FIRST before all other pilots. If Compass begins supplying pilots after the 30 month commitment, wouldn't any flow-up for Mesaba guys be essentially impossible/useless 30 months from now? NWA would have to be extremely short on pilots, and many Compass guys would have to bypass flow-up in order for it to benefit Mesaba. I can only see Mesaba taking advantage of it within the next 2 years and then being forced to take a backseat to Compass. Correct me if I'm wrong please...
Eagle's flow through agreement said that all AA new hire classes must be comprised of 50% Eagle pilots. That didn't happen either. I wouldn't trust my career to a flow through. If it works out.....awsome! have plans for otherwise.

Effective January 1, 2008
To be eligible you must:
-Be a Captain
-Have 30 months on the Mesaba payroll
-Meet NWA hiring minimums
-Awarded in seniority order
-Maximum of 10% of the Mesaba pilot group will be eligible over a rolling 12 month period
-No more than 9 Mesaba pilots per month (No more than 3 per month from 1/1/08 – 9/30/08)
-The number of pilots that can flow down to Mesaba from NWA can not exceed the number that flowed from Mesaba to NWA
-If there is a flow down and subsequently another flow up, the maximum number that could flow down is limited to the number that flowed up since the last flow down.
According to the email details are still being worked out, but here's the gist.

Thanks for sharing that with us. There are a few differences between that and the Compass arrangement. Should make for an interesting '08. Either way, good luck to all of us!
