QCs and Lightspeed are not TSO’d. I doubt anyone really cares but if the wrong fed ends up on your JS could be a bad day.

I mostly see Bose these days. Not many folks are wearing DCs.

I still use my DC H10-13.4 and they have been all right. I’m in a turboprop so our flights are usually less than 2 hours, so they’re not too uncomfortable. I would like to get a set of ANR DCs.

I really appreciate David Clark’s customer service. I sent my set in for a small issue a while ago and they sent it back earlier than expected with a full refurbishment on my accessories.

it depends on the airline. TSO is only required if the airline says it is

Does psa require tso headsets? In in training for them still. I was going to sell my lightspeed zulu 3 for the a20. But if they don't require tso, I'll continue to stick to my zulu 3.

You'll have to look in the company manuals, most likely the FOM

I don't work at PSA anymore but when I was there it was a requirement.

In Ear perhaps?

For an alternative to the ones previously mentioned you may want to look into an in-ear headset. Doesn't mess up your pomade. Available in TSO and non TSO and the PNR value is very good.
Some examples are Quiet Technologies Halo, Clarity Aloft , CQ1, FARO AIR.
They don't take batteries are comfy, light, durable, pair well with sunglasses and protect your hearing well.
Used a Lightspeed Mach1 for 8 years flying CE-U206G and I have been using a TSO Clarity Aloft for the last 10 years flying King Air and jets. Tried other headsets on occasion but won't go back.

If you want to still have batteries and headset hair Bose makes an ANR in ear headset. It looks cooler than mine.
