Exactly. They had a bill introduced redefining pi=3.00000. Because the math of using 3.141592654…. is too hard. We must make math easier to provide equity for all under represented groups.

Careful, put too many things on Guam and it could capsize. . . My personal favorite “how did they get elected” moment.

Be interesting to see how they require it when we don't have enough pilots.

OO has enough pilots to do EAS - they would just have to stop other contractual commitments to UA, AA, DL etc.

but this is what contracts are for. You commit to something and then you are on the hook to deliver. I suspect the government will be the less understanding negotiator

XJT/Aha! Has been actively pursuing EAS routes from what I understand. They may be able to pick some of them up.

And California, as well. I believe it was in the 1970s or 1980s. Always have been known as being behind the times.

There are already through flights to Devils Lake and Jamestown ND. Rumor is Denver Air Connection might pick up some of the flying out of DEN. most of the EAS routes I fly are just as full as the mainline contracted ones so I guess it really is in the company’s interest to keep our partners happy
