Which regionals overnight in CHO, please?

There are flights in/out on UAL, DAL, and AAL... just wondering which (if any) of them spend the night?

Many thanks!

Piedmont does quite a few overnights at CHO

SkyWest has overnights there

Scroll down to scheduled departures. Five regionals out before 7. I assume those are the overnighters.

If you tap the flight number and scroll down to flight info the "track inbound plane" button will show you the overnight flight number.

Just remember that who is overnighting there this month is not necessarily who is going to overnight there next month

Thanks for the info... it's very much appreciated!

Never would have thought to check FlightAware... which is kind'a disappointing, given how much I use it for other things. (Sometimes I'm not so smart!)

Dont pick a job based on where you think they will be overnighting. That constantly changes .
Just Fyi

If you’re asking this because you want overnights at home-

this may be the absolute worst reason to pick an airline I’ve heard so far. I have seen constant overnights by my carrier in a city for 3-4 months then we don’t even go there on a turn for 3 years.

There are few exceptions to this rule though. Like Envoy at LIT/XNA which are huge maintenance bases for them.
But generally, you are correct.

Even then, just ask all the SC people at whiskey how CAE worked out. Still a safer bet in your example though.

Both are good points. It does take awhile for MX bases to come and go with significant infrastructure investment (access to a cheap hangar). ORF is a great example with PSA since taking over the hangar after AWAC left.

Wholly-Owned regionals tend to hold on to their maintenance base flights/routes a bit better, but at non-wholly owned carriers its a bit more of a crapshoot. Look at CAE for ZW, COS/PSP for SkyWest, etc.

not sure what the crapshoot is in COS or PSP. those have been MX bases for years and while the domiciles are small, they're very stable and very senior.

the crapshoot is that even though they are maintenance bases for the wheezy, a lot of other regionals tend to get through flights through them.
