Default New SKW Hiring Mins to become official soon

Looks like SKW is finally following suit. One of our pilot recruiters just told me that, unofficially but should be official soon, our hiring mins are about to drop significantly. She wouldn't give me a number but she said "don't be surprised if they fall as low as 600/100 . I asked her when it would be official and she said "just keep looking on line and tell all your friends who are short of 1000TT to start sending in their resumes."

Remember it’s not a pilot shortage until there are “No More Pilots

Well, on the plus side, if I get hired, at least there will be a good stream of people coming in under me. I guess.

I know how (some of) you feel about low-time pilots, but...I'm one of them, and this is what I've been waiting to hear. SKW is really the only regional I'd want to work for, so I hope this is true.

Well even if it's not, the difference between 600 hours and 1000 hours is like, what, 4 or 5 months?

Great news for us low-timers. However no drop in the 100 multi, thats the hard one to get...

It is running, and there are lines effective july 1st (it had previously operated as a reserve base). Right now it is a middle fo the road (probably no one getting it out of training), however if it grows that will change. It might not be the most stable base though. Growth, shrinkage and elimination are all possible depending on what happens with ASA and where PNCL and Mesa put their 900s.
