ATP Jets ATP-CTP course

What airframe systems and sims are ATP using for the sim portion of the course in DFW?

Anything and everything that's available. Could be an A320, ERJ145, CRJ, B737, B767, etc. The class I was in a few years ago had people in all of those sims. I ended up with 8 hours in the A320 and 2 hours in the ERJ145.

As said above but I will add there’s no learning of the airframe. It’s not about the type or knowing the plane. It’s about experiencing the things in the ctp lectures. Stalls upsets basic autoflight functions etc to see how they happen and how you recovery in a jet compared To a single engine

Any available plane. And it dosnt matter. It's just summer school for pilots. Not a test or anything.

I was there early August.

Did the 737, Airbus 320, and E175 (non motion).

I enjoyed my experience there. Each of the sim instructors were willing to answer all our questions and a few "not in the curriculum" activities to increase the fun factor.

And I live 25 minutes from the facility. If I am in town, I'm willing to meet folks attending the course for dinner.
