Comfortable Shoes

I have been at the regional for a bit. I have the Ecco’s with some insoles in them. Still not super comfortable.

I had no idea how much walking I would be doing on a daily basis.

I need some shoes that conform to the dress code (black dress style) but feel like sneakers or like boomer asics (I really like my brooks- maybe I can get a reasonable accommodation hahaha)

any advice?

Just take your new balances and spray paint them black

Ecco Jamestown Chelsea boot. Feel like a tennis shoe, no laces, and I can walk in them 20 hrs a day and not feel fatigued. I like them so much I immediately bought a second pair if they were to be discontinued.

Best advice in the thread. If you ever find a pair of shoes you cannot live without, buy a second or maybe third right away.

Same but Allen Edmond. The Chelsea is a great design no matter who you buy it from.

Dunham Service Plaintoe.

I have large (17EE) feet and wear UCBLS (think prescription orthotics, but bigger, due to both feet getting jacked up in the military) and selection is VERY limited in my size. These have most importantly for me, a wide toe box so my big toe isn't constantly being pushed towards my other toes.

Downside, in the larger sizes, it is wider than the "ridges" on the edge of the A320 pedals. Did not have this problem on the 757/767, and haven't flown your jet but if you have more normal sized feet, it should be no problem.

Other "gotcha" the stain resistant/whatever laces are like teflon slick, and do not stay tied. Change them out for a more normal lace.

Cole Haan Zerogrand, as comfortable as they look. My old lady says they look like diabetic shoes…
