Another sunglasses thread....
Just wanted to let everyone about some new Oakleys that just came out. VERY pilot friendly. I just bought a pair and they are lighter than air and extremely headset friendly. Can't even feel them on my head when I wear my headset.

Lightweight sunglasses
IF you're paying $300.....make sure they look nice also:D
|
I can really afford those on my wage! Actually, I usually buy mine from the dollar store!
|
Sounds great till you lose, break, or scratch them!
I stopped wasting my money on high dollar shades many years ago. Maybe with next years pay raise... |
I've got the Oakley Half-Jackets - aren't too expensive (relative to other Oakleys), still very comfortable and light.
Keep 'em around your neck on one of those "leash" thingers and they oughta be safe from most scratches and what-not. Of course, that goes for any pair of shades, but those over-priced Oakley's especially! |
Make sure they aren't polarized.

No problems reading the displays with these glasses. I got sick of buying cheap sunglasses..and I wanted something that wouldn't dig into my skull 30 min into a flight.
|
I think I would rather go for a good flight case or bag that would last me 10 years rather then sunglasses that I'll lose first chance I get. They look great though. I'll take my Serengettis though.
