Default TSA taking things off rollerboard

I gate checked my rollerboard while traveling on Air Wisconsin and they removed the strap that holds my flight case to my rollerboard. Its a travelpro, does anyone know where I can get another strap?

Did you happen to be flying through Philly? That wasn't the TSA, that was the rampers playing "Take the pilot's J hook" game. Next time, if it isn't bolted onto your luggage, take it with you.

Ps
it's 'rollaboard' you know, like, "This f*&ker's heavy! I think I'll just 'roll it aboard'!"

I wasn't going to say anything...but well said LoL

And a little tangent: it is "I couldn't care less," not "I could care less." (a double-negative thing when used in that context)

That'll complete today's grammar lesson haha :-)

I had an unfornate incident with a USair flight out of DFW. It was a 170 I was jumpseating on and had to velet check my suitcase. I had crew tag and a valet tag on there when I left it. When I got to DC my bag never came up and I had about a 10-15min connection. Long story short the capt ended up going down to look for my suitcase and found it and I made my connect. However, the crew tag and valet tag were missing. I tend to have a hard time thinking both accidently got ripped off when everybody else got their bags. I almost had to go to baggage claim to get the bag if it wasn't for the cpt I would have been spending the night in DC. Not cool

Not all rampers are as professional as CLE ones, EWR ones are some of the laziest ignorant human beings on the face of the earth, and they dont even have to go through security, I saw one once throw, and I mean throw a surfboard, what an ass.............

I use black zip ties to hold anything that I dont ever want falling off on my travel pro. Cheap, and works like a dream, and carry a couple extras for the drive shaft of your captains car if the time presents its self.
