It’s only slowing do to Captain constraints. No point in hiring 80 FO’s a month if you don’t have enough Captains. Just dilutes the FO hours and they need them to
upgrade.. SkyWest numbers of NH’s are increasing back to normal class sizes now.. Shortage will continue for awhile.

For those who don't watch the video, he admits it's a clickbait title, and the answer is "No." Mainly he addresses pilots who are frustrated at hitting their 1500 hours and not being able to get hired at the regionals. He has some interesting statistics and other comments that are worth watching the whole video.

Yes and he concludes that the hiring will slow down and we are past peak, but no, it isn't "over."

There never has been a shortage. Hence why FO hiring isn’t matching supply.

The current hiring event allowing real movement for the first time in a long time, is continuing.

Everyone I know associated with aviation is getting their private. When the music stops, there will be a massive pilot surplus. the surviving regionals will resume their garbage pay and treatment.
